Putting it into Practice

"dilo" or "Say It" is our online community space — “dilo” or “Say It” is our online community space

For eight weeks starting August 17, 2015, the UdG Agora project moves into dilo (“Say It”), our online community powered by discourse.

Communicating via a large community of more than 300 participants, medium class-sized groups of 42 facilitated by instructors, and small triads of 3, our participants begin their implementation of their challenges with their current courses.

Much of the dilo site is open for the world to view, but discussion for now is limited to our participants. We will be offering weekly synchronous events via Google Hangouts. Details on each week’s activities are published to the Noticias area of dilo and also shared via the @AgoraUdG twitter account.

Week 1

Aug 17, 2015

You will get connected to the Dilo discussion space, reconnect with your triads, and say hello to your instructors and group. You will begin reviewing and planning ideas your challenge implementations.

Aug 24, 2015

You will prepare your implementation plan and begin getting feedback from your triad and your Dilo group.

Week 3

Aug 31, 2015

Some of you will still be preparing your implementation plans. Some of you will be ready to submit them to your Dilo group for sharing after your triad has reviewed them.

Week 4

Sep 7, 2015

Some of you will have already implemented a challenge. You will share your implementation framework with student feedback to your Dilo group.

Sep 14, 2015

You continue to work with your triads and Dilo group for support and feedback for your implementations. We will also ask if there is anybody who would like to do an Online Studio on a relevant student centred learning topic or mobile technology.
